There are many confusions in the Matter line that need to be investigated carefully. Due to many having the same first name and going by middle name which is tradition they have been confused. Some have combined the wives of various brothers to one and hence cause confusion.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with George by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with George:

The parents' "confirmed with DNA" indicators were removed because the DNA confirmation is undocumented.

Please see this G2G article on DNA confirmation for more information and guidance on proper documentation.

Thank you.

P.S., As it states in the Help for Confirmed with DNA:

"If there isn't a proper source citation the "Confirmed with DNA" relationship status should be removed (by you or another member)."
