Coleman Johnson Mauberret, 22, of Denver, CO passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2018. He was born in New Orleans, LA on September 13, 1996 to Marlande and Andre Mauberret. He attended Country Day School in Metairie, LA and graduated from Riverwood High School in Sandy Springs, GA. Coleman was strong academically and athletically, and like his Granddaddy, excelled at football and baseball. He was a senior at Johnson & Wales University in Denver where he was completing a degree in Sports & Entertainment Event Management. Coleman was a good looking, intelligent, funny and compassionate young man. He loved and was loved by many. He enjoyed cooking, mountain biking, snow skiing and was extremely passionate about music, his friends and his golden retriever Comanche. Growing up, Coleman was a member of St. John Methodist Church, attended Falling Creek Camp where he was on the honor council and participated in many community service projects. The charity closest to his heart was Feeding Denver's Hungry. Coleman is survived by parents Marlande Johnson Mauberret and Andre Benedict Mauberret, sister Cameron Elms Mauberret, grandparents Harold Weaver Johnson, Regina Elms Keever, Frank Pitre Mauberret (Lisa), uncle Michael Elms Mauberret (Laurie) and cousin Mia Meredith Mauberret. A memorial service will be held November 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Munholland Methodist Church in Old Metairie.
