On 11 Oct 1809, in Clay Co. KY Court a suit was filed by John Maupin, Sr. and wife Sally. On 11 Jul 1811, the suit was abated because of the death of John Sr. So, John's death occurred after 1809 and before 11 Jul 1811.[2]
