Biography

Joseph was born in 1892 in Grant Parish, Louisiana. He was the son of Joseph H. Maxey and Matilda Bradford.

Joseph was living with his parents and brother in Grant, Louisiana in 1900.[1]

In 1910, he was living in the household of his grandfather Albert Claiborne Maxey.[2]

He married Luella Bilbo. In 1930, they were in Selma, Grant, Louisiana living with sons Otho, Joseph, Albert Claiborne, and daughters Helen, Bessie, Georgie, and Ella.[3]

He passed away in 1951.[4]
