Biography

Bluford was born in 1803 in Virginia. He first appears in the 1830 census living in Jackson county, Tennessee with his first family.[1] Bluford had at least 3 wives and 12 children. He passed away in 1871. [2]

Bluford's father is not Samuel Maxwell according to Y-DNA. But he is related to him. Likely is his uncle. Henry Hance and Mary Maxwell are the likely parents.
