Biography
Not much is known about James M. Mayes, other than he was born circa 1926 in West Virginia to Carl and Anna Dunaway Mayes. He grew up in Putnam and Fayette Counties, West Virginia.
He was working as a welder when he enlisted in the United States Army for WWII on October 27, 1944.
After his service, he married Deloris Scott on March 11, 1952 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
Nothing else is known about his life at the present time.
