Harris Edmund McAfee (1899 - 1975)

My name is Marion Brunton. I believe you had been helping my newly found brother Chris Morris to find his father, which turned out to also be my Dad, Ron McAfee. Thankyou for helping him. We have recently met, and, even if he wasn't my brother, it is a pleasure to know him. I have recently started trying to create a family tree and realized that ours overlap. We have different spellings for Harris Edmund McAfee/MacPhee's last name and when looking at how to merge these it says, "Before proposing the merge, please confirm that McAfee is the proper Last Name at Birth. If it should be MacPhee click here to propose that McAfee-992 be merged into MacPhee-127 instead. If you click on the information button beside that under Direction of Merge it says, "The only exception is when the original profile had an incorrect Last Name at Birth. The Last Name at Birth forms part of the WikiTree ID." On the profile I created for my grandfather, I included his birth registration as a source, and it shows the spelling as McAfee. I also notice you put down that Effie and Harris had only 1 child, my Aunt Dorothy, and her last name is spelled incorrectly as well. I don't know if you ever met my Aunt Dorothy. I think she returned to Gaspe quite often, and she was always a great one for family get-togethers. Maybe that is why you only listed her as a child of my grandparents, but I have other aunts and uncles that I would like to include on this tree, and I was wondering if I could be included on your trusted list, so that I can edit the ones you have included and add more? I think we are possibly related through the Guignon's or the Rose's, and I appreciate all the work you have done so far. I know they spelled their name as MacPhee at one time, but I know the change was before my grandfather's generation. Maybe eventually I will get further back and figure out when that happened.
