'Thomas was born about 1844. He was the son of William McAlpin and Manah Unknown. He passed away about 1934.

The 1850 United States census records: Wm (71) and Matilda (45) with children Sarah (27), Nancy (20), Mary (18), Wm (13), and Thos (6) are living in Division 11, Carroll, Georgia. [1]
