Biography

Charles McClain was born in 1834 in Tennessee according to the 1850 census. His parents were John McClain and Lydia Williams.[1]

According to the 1850 census, Charles lived with his mother and siblings in Weakley County, Tennessee.[1]

On August 19, 1852, Charles married Julia Kesterson in Pike County, Illinois.[2]

Charles died on November 29, 1863. He is buried in the Bethel Cemetery in Pike County, Illinois.[3]
