Biography

Rosetta was born in 1860. She was the daughter of Eugene McCollum and Margaret Warring.

She married Thomas Bristol Warring (1855–1931). They had the following children:

Marjory J. "Margie" Warring 1884–1947

Clayton Finch Warring 1887–1948

William Haslet Warring 1889–1922

Allen J. Warring 1894–1942

Hubert Earl Warring 1897–1983

She passed away in 1937. Burial: Hillcrest Burial Park, Kent, King Co., Washington.

ILLNESS CLAIMS ROSE M. WARRING

Funeral Services Held Thursday For Long Time Resident, Active Club Worker

After a lingering illness, Rose M. Warring, 76, a long time resident of Kent passed away at her home, 622 Railroad avenue south on Monday, January 11. Born in Minnesota on September 22, 1860 she had lived in Kent for eighteen years.

The deceased was well known here and had belonged to many clubs. She was a member of the Kent Methodist Church, W.C.T.U., the Women's Relief Corps and Royal Neighbors of America, at Everett, Washington. Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 14 at 11 a.m. in the Kent Methodist Church with Rev. William E. Callahan officiating. Burial was at the Kent Cemetery under the direction of the Kent Funeral Home.

Rose M. Warring was married to Thomas B. Warring in Lake City, Minnesota in 1882 and came to oak Harbor in 1909. They moved from Oak Harbor to Kent in 1918.

Surviving are three sons, C. F. Warring of Elma, Washington; Allen J. Warring of Kent; and Earl H. Warring of Longview, Washington; one daughter, Mrs. M. J. Behrbaum of Auburn, Washington and Mrs. W. H. Claffin of Spokane, a sister."
