Biography
- Margaret[1] was born in 1753 in Cumberland (later Somerset) County, Pennsylvania, the third of six children and the older of two daughters of Abraham and Elizabeth Unknown McConnell.
- They moved, probably after ca 1765 to Fayette County, Pennsylvania[2] and c1790 they moved from York County, Pennsylvania to Botetourt County, Virginia, as did oldest brother, William, sister, Margaret, brother, John and youngest brother, Moses.[1]
- When she was in her thirties, about 1789, she married Nicholas Henshaw (1763-23 February 1821) in Redstone Twp, Fayette Co., Pennsylvania.[3]
- Margaret died in her fifties, on 14 February 1810 in Laurel Hill, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, of unknown causes.
