Susan Jane was the daughter of Lewis McCurley and Nancy Shiflet, likely born in Hart County, Georgia. She married Ruebin Monroe Craft[1] and their children were Richard W, Mollie, Leila Frances,[2] and Early A. She died on 10 Mar 1940 and is buried at Rock Branch Baptist Church in Elbert County.[3]
