For many years they've sat in my database as Robert McEwan and Agnes Ferguson, even after I amalgamated the St Ninians & Kincardine baptisms to William McEwan and Margaret Gray into the same family, which makes the 1718 baptism getting a bit marginal [2]. I've now orphaned William awaiting further research.
I would like to throw DNA at this should any direct male line descendants be willing!
By naming pattern alone, a very rough guide only, I would expect them to be a William and Mary. Anyone got any candidates?
