Bridget McGarry was the wife of Hugh Quinn. The notes section of the birth records of daughters Catherine and Ellen both say Bridget=Biddy, hence the preferred name.
Bridget and Hugh had at least seven children: Mary, born 1837; Catherine, born 1840; Ellen, born 1849; Patrick, born 1852; Bridget Quinn O'Hara, 1854-1938; Margaret, born 1857; and, Charles, born 1858.
She died in Ballymena, County Antrim, Ireland in 1894.[1]
Research Note
There is a death record for Bridget Quinn, widow, age 81 on 4 December 1894, at Caherty, Ballyclug, County Antrim (registration district Ballymena). This would give a birth year of 1813. Death was recorded by son John Quinn.[2]
