1840 Census - lived in Wilkes Co., NC, Horton's District.
Military 1812 Age: 26 Served in the War of 1812 - 8th Co. detached from 9th Brigade, Wm. P. Waugh, Captain. Haywood Reg. NC 16th Co. MR 1812 - NC Military Muster Rolls 1812 & 1814 by R.V. Jackson.
Lucinda-"Lucy"- McGee made application for his Military Grave Marker.
Bluford is buried in the David McGee Family Cemetery, Boomer, Wilkes County, North Carolina.
