It would appear that we are 19th cousins 3 times removed (although some of the connections are still uncertain) with our common ancestor Reginald (Grey) de Grey. You are descended through Ida and I am through Maud. HOWEVER these lines are purely speculative and not secure. I have many English and Scottish lines through which we could be connected also.

Hi Deb,

Thank you for adding to Johanna Manning Forshey's profile, which makes it more complete. Johanna is my wife's 5th GGM. Our best to you. Bud and Peggy

Gordon,

After two years of a job that devoured me mentally I'm ready to dive in! I appreciate your thanks, female brick walls sometimes need a little nudge, I have several that do not nudge at all but I've began digging deeper. My own Johanna Manning Hair gave me a good run for the money and I've yet to discover her burial site. Her son David Cory Hair was raised by his Manning grandparents in Ohio after her death in Illinois. Her husband John Hair remarried and had more children. If I only had a time machine....

Hi again Deb,

Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. You will want to read this After Adopting Orphans for information on the special kinds of updates these profiles may need.

Hi Deb,

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, coordination is essential and project participation is strongly encouraged. I'm here to help you find a project related to your current research focus.

Think about the particular time periods, locations, and topics in which you are interested. Do you have historically-significant ancestors? The list of active projects may give you some ideas:

If you see one that is just right, go ahead and join. Otherwise, let me know what you are looking for and I will see what I can find.

Hello Deb

Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email we sent has useful links that will help you get started.

WikiTree is unique among genealogy sites in that our goal is to have One Profile per person. We are growing a shared global tree in which we collaborate as a team of researchers.

After you have confirmed your e-mail address, you may wish to add YOUR family branches by becoming a Volunteer. If so, indicate your genealogy interests by filling in TAGs for surnames you want to research, like GARCIA or a location, like SWEDEN. Include a comment on why each TAG is meaningful to you. Make sure to click the "Enter Tag(s) and Volunteer" button and a Greeter will follow-up in confirming your membership.

Thank you for visiting WikiTree. --Rod
