Hi again,

I sent you a message a couple of weeks ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well!

If I don’t hear back from you by the end of April, I will assume you no longer wish to be a member of the Germany Project and I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.

Best wishes,

Traci ~ Germany Project co-leader

Hi Traci,

Sorry for the slow reply. I've been pretty busy lately and haven't had time to devote to genealogy. You can go ahead and remove me

Thanks for responding Zoe. I will remove your Germany Project badge … please remember that you are always welcome to rejoin the project any time!

Best wishes, Traci

Hi,

The Germany Project Leaders are doing their semi-annual check-in with all project members and we want to verify that you’re still interested in being a member of the Project. Please respond by private message and let me know.

REMINDERS: (1) We use Google Groups for project collaboration and you aren’t yet a member of the group, please submit a join request here (make sure to add your name/WikiTree ID to the request). (2) I see you've added German_Roots (our old project name) to your G2G tags, you should also add GERMANY to your followed G2G tags so you don't miss any discussions in G2G (see: Help:Tags#How_to_follow_tags Help:Tags).

Are you currently working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? If not, take a look at our main Project page for a full list. We recently launched a new Profile Improvement Team and are seeking new team members. Let me know if you’re interested.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Traci ~ Germany Project co-leader

Thanks Zoe - I didn't think of a plaque. Not quite as permanent though you can put more text on it and I can just do it myself. Just chasing down the monument place has been a chore, I was trying to think how in the world I would be able to coordinate the entire process. I've come to the conclusion I must be nuts as I keep "collecting" GGPs who don't have grave markers. At first I think, "He/she is part of the reason I am here, they should be remembered" followed by "OK, the count is at about 12 now, nice thought though do you really want to do this for every long lost relative you ever had????" LOL Think more plaque now than ever

Hi again Zoe - I'm guessing you are connected to the Erckenbrack line at some point given the name :). by any chance do you connect to James, son of Philip, son of Adam? Something I have been thinking about and will look to get some critical mass at some point is James. I visited the cemetery in Hebron and the 140 year old sandstone gravestones are very worn. I was considering doing some sort of "fundraiser" to add a new stone noting the 4 who are buried there - nothing fancy. Any ideas? I could post something on the message board on wikitree? I still have to hear back from the memorial company in Illinois before I do anything. Thanks Bill

Hi Zoe,

I haven’t heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you don’t wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.

Many thanks for all your contributions,

Susie :-)

Hi Zoe,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hi Zoe;

The Ireland Project (previously the Irish Roots Project) has now changed its structure into Teams. We require everyone with the Ireland Badge to be a member of at least one Team or Sub-Team and our google group.

See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Ireland for details.

The Teams are :-

1 Categories Team
2 Counties Team
3 Managed Profiles Team
4 Membership Team
5 Profile Improvement Team
6 Topics Team
7 Diaspora Team

Can you let me know if you’d like to stay on in the new project and which team(s) you’d like to join. Please also let me know your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the project’s Google Group or confirm you are already a member of the google group.

Many thanks, Amy Gilpin Irish Roots Project Coordinator

Hello, just a word (late) to congratulate you on the contributions you made during the month of November. Whatever the quantity, they are all important.

Your work is appreciated. Thanks Guy Constantineau

Hi Zoe,

I’m Susie the new leader of the England Project. We are contacting all existing members of the project to find out how you are currently involved, and how you would like to be involved moving forward. Please have a look at the England Project page for more information, and then contact either myself or Gillian to let us know what you’d like to do, or if you have any questions. We can then list your interests, help you join the team in the Google group forum for England, and give you any help you might need to get going. If we don’t hear back from you we’ll assume you no longer want to be a part of the England Project at this time.

Many thanks and I look forward to hearing from you,

Susie :-)

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified. You picked several projects already hopefully these fit the pre-1700 profiles you'll be working on. Please ensure location data matches date of profile and avoid abbreviations

Any question let me know or ask in the G2G forum the tag is in the drop down menu
