Biography

Ralph was born in 1892. He is the son of Edward McManus and Elizabeth Reynolds. ^[1]

Ralph served in WW I with the 112th Field Artillery Regiment (New Jersey National Guard), assigned to the 29th Infantry Division. ^[2] The 112th saw action in Meuse-Argonne and Alsace.

Ralph married 10 Sep 1922 in Manhattan, New York to Marie Gertrude Hamner, daughter of Frank Hamner and Mary Gertrude Higgins. ^[3] Ralph and Marie resided in the Bronx in 1930, but had no surviving children by then. ^[4] Their only known child was:

1. Edward Francis, b. 07 Dec 1936, d. 20 Dec 1936 ^[5]

Ralph died 02 Aug 1938 in Bronx, New York at the age of 45, ^[6] and was buried in (Old) St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx. ^[7]
