Margaret Ethel McNeil was born 20 March 1891 in Blackville, Northumberland, New Brunswick, Canada. She was the daughter of John McNeil and Bella Bateman. ^[1]

Margaret wed Jesse Swett Tasker on 3 October 1906 in Mexico, Maine. ^[2] Their children:
