Margaret McPeak was born January 25, 1807 in Sparta, White, Tennessee. She was a daughter of William McPeak and Martha.

Marriage

She married William Jefferson Davis about 1828 in White, Tennessee. Together they had the following children: William Carrol, Eli, Elizabeth J., Cynthia Ann, Barbara, Alfred Benjamin, Martha D., David and Mary Ellen.
