Mrs. Carrie Dyess service held 

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from Green's Creek Baptist Church for Mrs. Carrie McPhail Dyess, 84, of Route 1, Carson, who died Tuesday afternoon at the Jefferson Davis County Hospital. Rev. Charlie Nobles officiated and interment followed in the church cemetery with Saulters Funeral Home in charge. Grandsons served as pallbearers. 

Mrs. Dyess was a lifelong resident of the Green's Creek Community and was a Baptist. 

Survivors include four sons, Sedgie Dyess, Wilburn Dyess, Willie Dyess, and Ernest Dyess, all of Carson; four daughters, Mrs. Oliver Bass, Mrs. T. W.
