It was on this date that William Mears & Jinny Mears were named in the settlement of the estate of Coventon Mears..2 Marriage* 19 Jun 1809 (bond) She married Thomas (SeaSide) Kellam, son of Shadrack Kellam and Leah Mapp, 19 Jun 1809 (bond) at Accomack Co, VA. William Symth was the security on the M.L.B. of Thomas Kellam of Shad and Jane Mears. According to Whitelaw Jenny Mears married Thomas Kellam and the next owner of this tract was their son Custis Kellam, who sold to Charles W. Taylor in 1841. It has since had other owners, including Levin W. Nock and his heirs.
