Jean Jacques Menegaux was a Huguenot emigrant (1540-1790).
Jean Jacques emigrated from Europe to Nova Scotia with the family of his son, Jean George, aboard the Speedwell in 1752. No further record has been found, and he was probably among those who died during the first winter in Halifax.
