Biography

Daniel was born in 1683. was the son of Samuel and Susanna (Mills) Messenger of Jamaica, Long Island; his grandfather, Andrew Messenger, appears as a signer of the 'fundamental agreement' at New Haven, Connecticut, 4 June 1639, and was an original proprietor and Magistrate of Jamaica. Daniel is an ancestor of President Millard Fillmore [1] He passed away in 1751. [2]
