Biography
Prudence is found in the 1850 Census as an eight-year-old in the household of James Michael, age 68 and his wife Sarah (Everly) Michael age 60, their daughter Ara Michael age 40, and son Jesse Michael age 19. It is likely that Prudence is the granddaughter or niece of James and Sarah. [1]
In 1870 the Glasscock family is found in the Grant District of Monongalia County. Children were Davis, Steven, Wm. E., Lavenia, Samuel F. and James F.[2]
