Birth

Carl was born on December 27, 1854 in Marquette County, WI to Gottfried Mieske and Caroline (Bartz) Mieske. He was the fifth of their 12 children.[1]


Family

On July 1, 1877, at the age of 22, Carl married Auguste Mueller (1859-1929) in Fall Creek, WI.[2]
