Biography
William Miller is the descendant of a Huguenot emigrant.
William was born in 1842. He is the son of James Miller and Frances Harris.
He married Katherine Portman. They only had the one daughter.
Research Notes
Don't confuse this individual with his cousin of the same name, William Harris Miller, who is the author of "History and Genealogies of the Families of Miller, Woods, Harris, Wallace, Maupin, Oldham, Kavanaugh." There is a wonderful paragraph in that book, in which the author describes his many similarities to this William Harris Miller.[1]
