Biography

Sallie L Piggott was enumerated as wife at Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana for the June 22, United States Census, 1880. She was noted as keeping house, born 1852 in Louisiana and married as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self W C Piggott, daughter Maude Piggott, son Wm A Piggott, daughter Everlyin Piggott, other Henry Pitts, other Alf Blackston and other Lucinda Pitts.^[1]

S L Russell was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Crawford between 4th and 6th Avenues West, Ballard Precinct, Ballard city Ward 2-3, King County, Washington for the June 2, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born October 1852 in Louisiana and had been married seven years. She was the mother of three? children of which all were still living as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head H Russell, stepdaughter Evaline F Piggott, stepson Harry B Piggott and daughter Elizabeth G Russell.^[2]
