Elisha was born in 1793, son of Elisha Miner Sr. and Eunice Capron. He served in the War of 1812.
He was married in 1836 to the widow Patty/Martha (Dickinson) Husted. His will was probated on 21 September 1860, Trumbull County, Ohio. The will mentions wife Martha, and his sons Almon, Elisha, and George Miner.
