Ma`s mom`s maiden name was Emmaline Poling and she married a Minton (John?). They had five kids: Eldon, Margaret Gillie, Thomas J., Robert, and another one who was mysterious because he lived in a sanitorium due to syphillis which I found out when I was older.
Ma`s first husband, Orville Irvin eventually committed suicide by gassing himself in his car in his garage. As far as I know he did`t remarry or have any more children after Ma left him, took Betty and moved to Huntington Beach, California. I think her younger brother Thomas J. (we always called him Uncle TJ) already lived there in Lynnewood area. Ma then married a fire marshall, named Jack Sargent. That didn`t last very long and they divorced. Ma said she left him because she got sick and he didint take care of her. Then she worked in a small cafe called `the Sweet Shop` in Long Beach where she met Bill Clark who was a professional pool player. When they married, he got a job at Convair and later moved to Texas when he got transferred to Gen. Dynamics.
