The Schenectady Baptism's by Pearson states the following: 1726 Jun 26; Johannes Marselis, Sara De Graaf; Ahasuerus (b);
Ahasueras married Maria Vrooman, daughter of Hendrick Vrooman, 01 Jan 1749. The marriage was in the First Dutch Reformed Church, Schenectady, Schenectady, New York. In the record, Maria's name was spelled Vroman.[2]
Ahasuerus served New York Militia during the Revolutionary War and died in service in 1777 at Bemis Heights in Saratoga County, New York (Battle of Bemis Heights, Second Battle of Saratoga).[3] See Wikipedia: Second Saratoga order of battle. He is listed as a DAR Patriot, as follows:[4]
