Biography

Elizabeth Ann Mitchell was born on 25 November 1869 in Stockton on Tees, Durham, England, daughter of Thomas Mitchell and Elizabeth Wrightson.

She immigrated to the United States in 1884.

Elizabeth married Samuel Franklin Gunn on 18 August 1887 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah Territory.[1][2] Their children were:

  1. Roxey Elizabeth Gunn was born on September 24, 1888; died on October 30, 1889. She is buried in the Meadowville Cemetery in Meadowville, Rich County, Utah.
  2. Samuel Franklin Gunn was born on April 26, 1891 in Salt Lake City.
  3. Mary Henrietta "May" Gunn was born on February 27, 1894 in Meadowville, Rich Couty, Utah; died from typhoid pneumonia on December 11, 1907 at 471 West 8th South in Salt Lake City.
  4. Roy "Royal" Gunn was born on March 27, 1896 in Meadowville.
  5. Rachel Gunn was born on February 9, 1899 in Meadowville.
  6. Klea Gunn was born on May 13, 1901 in Meadowville.
  7. Thomas Alfred Gunn was born on March 31, 1905 in Meadowville.
  8. Raymond Fenton Gunn was born on August 21, 1907 at 471 West 8th South in Salt Lake City.

Her husband Samuel died on January 4, 1924 in Salt Lake City.[3]

Elizabeth married Luke Shaw on April 26, 1926 in Salt Lake City.[4] He died on May 11, 1933 in Salt Lake City.[5]

Elizabeth died at an age of eighty-three on 28 November 1952 in Salt Lake City. She is buried in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.[6][7][8]

Hi--The use of parentheses in the first name field is causing a data error to appear on the error report. Would you be so kind as to remove the parentheses and perhaps move the name "Lillie" to the Nickname field? This should set everything right.
