Biography
THOMAS MIZE was born November 1808 in South Carolina, and died February 12, 1872.
About 1812-1814, Thomas was adopted by his uncle, Henry T. Mize after the death of his parents Jeremiah Mize, Jr. and Nancy Bailey . [1]
He married MARTHA LAVINA CAPE January 20, 1828 in Franklin County, Georgia.

MARTHA MINERVA MIZE, b. May 15, 1842, Franklin County, Georgia; d. May 01, 1929; m. JAMES WASHINGTON MILLER.
He operated a wholesale/retail wagon-run operation between Anderson SC & Athens GA.
