Jackson Carl Modrell, was born April 30, 1859, in Benton, Arkansas and died September 21, 1942, in Milton Freewater, Oregon. He married Phebe Ellen Onstott in Benton, Arkansas on February 26, 1880. Phebe was born September 6, 1866 in Fannin, Texas and she died July 13, 1951 in Milton Freewater, Oregon. They had four children, William Lee, Millie Sabrina, Dora Elvira and Charles Zemari.
