Chronicles of the Scotch-Irish Settlement in Virginia. Volume II. Page 146. "In 1771 or 1772 Robert Trimble moved with his family to this country and settled about two miles from the land in question, lived there until some time after the Commissioners' Court, and then moved to Kentucky. Mary Moffett deposes 24th August, 1810, in Washington County. She remembers that in 1772 Robert Trimble moved to the country. Trimble was then married to Mary's husband's sister."

Page 124 mentions Hannah's mother Mary Christian marrying John Moffett. Page 177 continues discussion of the Moffett children and their relationship with the Trimbles, although neither page names Hannah explicitly.
