The name Fred has been mistakenly assumed to be the name of the 1892 stillborn son of Simon Joseph and Sarah Margaret (Rader) Moomaw. This child was never named on any tombstone. There was the death of another Moomaw child in 1892 in Virginia state records of childhood deaths. I believe that he was the son of a Caspar Moomaw. I cannot now find my notation of this death
