Mary "Polly" was born about 1780, in Virginia. She is said to be the daughter of John Moore and Millie Redmond. Her date and place of death and burial are unknown. She is last found in records on the 1860 census in the household of her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Nipper Adams in Shoal Creek District, Cherokee County, North Carolina.[1]
Mary married William Carroll about 1793 in North Carolina.
