Biography

Mary was born in Virginia in 1770 [1]. She was the daughter of Shadrack G. Moore and Rebecca Ann Pennick.

She married John Young about 1785. Their children:

  1. Aramanthea K Young (1786-1836) [2]
  2. America L (Young) Harding (1793-1876) [3]
  3. Nancy Young, born 1783
  4. Elizabeth Young, born 1786 [4]
  5. Jane S (Young) Hannah (1798-1841) [5]
  6. Polly Moore Young [6]

In 1850, she was 80 years old and resided in Greenup, Kentucky with her husband John [7].

She passed away in 1857 and was buried in the John Young Graveyard in Argilite, Greenup County, Kentucky [1].
