When Susannah Moore was born on July 30, 1790, in Augusta, Virginia, her father, Isaac, was 21, and her mother, Hannah, was 25. She married Peter Lowry on December 19, 1811, in her hometown. They had nine children in 17 years. She died on December 10, 1879, having lived a long life of 89 years, and was buried in Cherry Fork, Ohio.
