Biography

When Hargrove W. Moore was born on January 25, 1853 in Georgia, his father, Milton, was 31 and his mother, Ophelia, was 21. He married Mary 'Mollie' L. Davis on January 20, 1876, in Randolph, Georgia.[1] They had 9 children,[2] 8 known are:

  • Samuel T. (1878–1950)
  • Montie (1879–)
  • Beatrice Earl (1880–1966)[3]
  • William 'Willie' M. "Jack" (1886–1968)
  • L. Dora (1887–1977)
  • Lillie (1891–)
  • Richard Thomas (1892–1966)
  • Mary L. (1899–)

Mollie died of pneumonia and old age in 1925[4] and Hargrove died after April of 1930, possibly on June 19, 1930 in Early County, GA (need source).[5]
