Judith (Moore) McSwain was a North Carolina colonist.

Judith Moore was born May 10, 1757 in the Colony of Carolina, present day Orange County, North Carolina, USA, the daughter of John Moore and Mary M. (Leake) Moore.

Judith married William D. McSwain in North Carolina and they had the following children:

  5. James McSwain,
  6. Elizabeth McSwain,
  7. Thomas Mcswain,
  8. William McSwain,

  13. Judith A. (McSwain) Green

Judith served in the Revolutionary War with her husband by mending clothes for soldiers. She is listed in the DAR research database.[1]

Judith died about 1831 in Rutherford County, North Carolina which is present day Shelby, Cleveland County, North Carolina at the age of 74 yrs. She is buried in the McSwain Cemetery in Shelby, Cleveland County, North Carolina, USA[2][3]
