Kerry was born 12:08 PM, 5/28/1933 at Florence Nightengale (Baylor) hospital in Dallas,TX. Grew-up in Dallas where he attended local schools. Employed at Chance Vought Aircraft in Grand Prairie,TX as an electronics technition while going to college in Arlington, TX. where he took a BS degree in Math from the University of Texas at Arlington. He worked several years as a Field Engineer for Collins Radio Co. where was assigned duties at Grumond Aircraft Co in Bethpage, NY. Subsequently, worked for F&M Systems Co. of Dallas as a project Engineer/Manager for television related system projects in the USA, South Africa, Soviet Union and Nigeria. Kerry closed his career with F&M as Project Manager for a radio project for the NYC Transit Authority that re-vamped their radio communications for all trains and transit police. Kerry has been married for 52 years to Marion Lee Watson (Leecy) of OKC, now with 3 children and seven grandchildren. Kerry's interest in genealogy began in grade school when the teacher asked if the students knew from where their ancestors came. Kerry's answer was immediate, "the Mayflower" which prompted some skepticism and a little scorn. Kerry has spent the rest of his life looking for the correct answers.

Some trees have Robert Moore instead of Richard. Wondered if you have definitive sources? Also, have you Joined any Moore Ydna groups? Would love to be able to confirm this line. Projects are a great way to collaborate on your ancestors' profiles and learn the naming conventions and other standards used for profiles from particular places and time periods.
Have you read Research Before Editing? The Sources Style Guide is also essential reading for working on pre-1700 profiles.
