Biography
When Lewis Andrew Moore was born on July 5, 1868, in Livingston, Missouri, his father, Levi, was 42 and his mother, Amy, was 36. He married Mittie 'Ethel' Tennesee Elliott on December 24, 1891, in Pittsburg, Oklahoma.[1] They had at least three children:
- Bessie Edith (1895–1955)[2]
- Robert Troy (1905–1929)
- William Franklin (1908–1997)
Ethel died on July 16, 1934 and Lewis died on April 15, 1944, in Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 75, and was buried in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.[3]
