He married Esther Anna Ross (1891–1973). They had the following children:
Ruth Anne Moore (1918–1972).
William Sherrard Moore (1920–2002).
Margaret Lucille Moore (1924–2010).
John Ross Moore (1926–2016).
He died in 1980. Cemetery: Oakdale Cemetery.
