I have Samuel married to Ann Patching 16.10.1750 (Tuesday) at Old Shoreham Church. Ann died on 17 Nov 1809. She was the daughter of Joshua Patching (d 17 Oct 1751at about 60 years of age). Joshua had been clerk of parish of Southwick, Sussex; his wife and mother of Ann was Bridget. They had 5 children: Mary bab 17.8.1712 m Thomas Blanchard 10.4.1735; Joshua b 1714, bur 21.3.1717; Joshua bab 13.10.1719, m Mary pain 14.4.1743; Charles bab ? Oct 1722; and Ann bab 27.8.1727.
