The son of Joseph D Morrow and Mary Margaret Stephens (1820-), James Morrow was born in Marshall, Alabama[citation needed] in 1846, residing there with his family.[1] By 1860, he and his family lived in what was enumerated as the Western Division of Marshall County, Alabama.[2]
Widowed around 1886, James remarried, marrying Sarah Frances (King) Morrow, marrying in Marshall County, Alabama around 1887[citation needed] and having one daughter together. Widowed a second time in 1889, James married Nancy Lenora (Culbreath) Morrow, filing an intent to marry on September 18, 1889[5] and receiving their marriage license on that day.[6] The marriage was solemnized in Marshall County on September 22, 1889.[7][8] James and Nancy had three known children together, making their home in Warrenton, Alabama.[9]
Widowed a third time in 1904, James married a fourth time, marrying Lulu V (Burson) Morrow, her second husband, receiving their marriage license in Marshall County on February 17, 1909,[10] with the Rites of Matrimony being performed in Marshall County on February 21, 1909.[11] They made their home in Warrenton, Alabama.[12]
James Morrow passed away in Warrenton, Alabama[13] at the age of 72 and is buried at Warrenton Cemetery.[14]
