DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Samuel by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Samuel:

Morrow-2988 and Morrow-798 appear to represent the same person because: Hi! I adopted the profile of Samuel Morrow (Morrow-798) and it appears that he and your Samuel are the same person. I have read The Morrows and Related Families and the children of "my" Samuel and the ancestors of "your" Samuel match up with those records. Compare and see what you think.

Thanks,

David Cummings

I am unsure about the wife and children, but It does look like the same person. Merging because his estate was left to Robert Elder, and my autosomal matches with descendants of Robert and Thomas, reputed and disputed children. We shall see.

- Mary McClure is listed as a widow with several children near Old Sam in the 1790 census. If they did marry, it was too late to be having the children ascribed to them.

She was disconnected as a wife

Morrow family research arising out of the DNA project suggests that the better theory is that this man was not the father of the children listed here. See summary here.
