Betsy Minerva Smith - Born: April 16, 1844 in Tully, Onondaga Co., NY; Death: May 18, 1919 in Genesee Township, Allegany County, New York. Betsy married George Thomas Sisson, February 2, 1868 in Caughdenoy (now called Central Square), Oswego County, New York.

George Thomas Sisson - Born: January 29, 1847 in Oswego, New York; Death: September 18, 1880 in Little Genesee, Allegany County, New York.

John Guy Smith - Born: June 8, 1845 in LaFayette, Onondaga County, New York.  ; Death: August 18, 1925 in Homer, Cortland County, New York. Married to Alice R. Smith.

Luther Henry Smith - Born: 1849; Death: November 25, 1908 in Little Genesee, Allegany, County, New York (family stated he was never married, but Sherry Kosciuch found an Iowa marriage certificate for him. Stated his father as Julius Smith; mother S. Moss (Morse?)

Mary Cornelia Smith - Born: August 29, 1853 in Caughdenoy (now called Central Square), Oswego County, New York; Death: January 1, 1938 in Little Genesee, Allegany County, New York.

5. Sarah Amelia Smith - Born: June 17, 1859 in Tully, Onondaga County, New York. Death: September 11, 1935 in Olean, Cattaraugas County, New York.

6. Julius Odell Smith - Born: 1863 in Hastings, Oswego County, New York.; Death: March 30, 1941, Buried at Olean, Cattaraugus County, New York.


Following Sarah Morse Smith's 1869 death, the children still at home were farmed out;

Caroline went to LaFayette, Onondaga Co., with a Henry Morse family.

Mary Cornelia and Sarah Amelia Smith went to live with a Brown family.

Julius, Sr., and Julius, Jr., went to live with Betsy Minerva Smith Sisson.

There is no record of where John Guy or Luther Henry relocated.
