Captain Jacob Morton served with Charlotte County Militia, Virginia Militia during the American Revolution.

Jacob Morton was born on 29 Jan 1751 in Amelia, Virginia, son of Joseph Morton Jr (1709 - 1782) and Agnes (Woodson) Morton (1711 - 1802).

Jacob served as a Captain in Charlotte County, Virginia Militia. Also he furnished supplies to the patriots. [1]
