Hannah L. Morton, 1788 Vermont - 1835 Missouri, was the daughter of Abraham Morton and Phebe Langford. Hannah married twice. She is buried near Shoal Creek, Clay, Missouri, on what was then her son’s 80 acre property. [1]
Moses Holbrook and Hannah Lucretia Morton are mentioned as parents in the records of both of their sons, who were part of the Nauvoo Community Project, 1839-1846, a Mormon settlement in Hancock County, Illinois. They each eventually settled in Utah.
Joseph Holbrook, born 16 January 1806 in Florence, Oneida, New York, resided at Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois. Joseph died on 14 November 1885 in Bountiful, Davis, Utah Territory. His wives were Caroline Frances Angell, Amanda Boys, Hannah Flint, Lucy Jones, Louisa Hoitt, and Nancy Lampson. [2]
Chandler Holbrook, born 16 September 1807 in Florence, Oneida, New York, resided in Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois. He died on 3 September 1889 in Fillmore, Millard, Utah Territory. His wives were Eunice Dunning and Ann Long. [3]
